The photos (as are most of the photos I've used for covers) were of course originally black and white and were obviously colorized. There is no way of truly knowing what colors things actually were and you really have to take artistic licence. (That's part of what I hate about the colorization of black and white movies so much. You are at the whims of the colorizer, who may or may not have any color sense.)

this magazine cover is just so fun to look at.. I think I've seen a picture of Maila dressed in this outfit before, but of course it was black and white. I was always really bugged that I could never see the color in that for some reason.
