I know the guy who owns the theatrical rights to Herschell Gordon Lewis' 2000 MANIACS (filmed in St. Cloud, Florida) and it'd be a great film for it. He has both 35mm and 16mm prints he rents out and maybe I can get you a deal on the rental rates. "Yeeeee-haaaaa! The South's gonna rise again!" --Theme from 2000 MANIACS I'm surprised none of the southern chapters have used a pic from it on their MySpace default. But someone down there should REALLY get some Drunx on Location pics at some recognisable 2000 Maniacs location in St. Cloud. If you want a list of Fla film locations, I'll send one to you. Yes, Hershell still lives in Florida, I think he is retired now from the direct mail advertising business that he owned. A lot of people don't know this story, but I actually have a co'writing credit with him on the theme song from his movie "Monster A-Go-Go". I just posted a story about it here. I'd say just get ahold of Mortimer and see if it would be a good fit for you to run a chapter. It isn't that hard really, but there are some responsibilities. I've got the town on lockdown Horror wise. I'll give you the Terror Tour. The only thing seasonal about L.A. is movie night at Hollywood Forever Graveyard, which ends in early September, but other than that Hollywood is Horrorwood year round. Paraphrasing SAW: "Ah, yes...
