For all of you who say that it is not possible , I was shocked to
learn that not only had Kevin Brownlow, and David Shepard ever been to Roberto Di Chiara's Silent film archive in Argentina, they had never met, or even
heard of the man before! So in other word's the notion that every archive from here to Timbuktu has been turned inside out for this movie, and other lost
films, is simply not the case. In-fact, I no more than spoke to Kevin Browlow, and two or three weeks later Roberto had passed away. A few months ealier, David
Shepard thought I was talking about a completely different guy in South America.
Poor Roberto lacked financial resources, was very cautious with his
collection, and never learned to speak English. All of this helps to account for his low profile, and surprising level of obscurity. Again I ask, what is
hidden among his holding's? We still don't know, and unless this matter is seriously investigated by competent people, and arrangement's are made
to preserve the man's collection, (the government their could basically care less), than we are unlikely to ever find out? As it is, time may be rapidly
running out for something to be done!

Yep...I do...
