I knew that THE HORROR DRUNX were going to sponsor this big Pre-Halloween show, but I didn't realize until a couple days before that I was going to appear too! Yep, yours truly, Sid Terror got pressed into service again. I was asked by my old friend Dinah Cancer to be Master of Scare-a-Moanies and M.C. the show. SID TERROR'S UNDEAD and her band 45 GRAVE have all been close buddies since about 1982 when they came up to San Francisco to play our own Pre-Halloween show way back when. Also on the bill for the 1982 show was Bryan Gregory of The Cramps band BEAST and Dave Grohl of Nirvana's band SCREAM opening. Dinah and I have been close ever since and I was glad to do it for her. Plus it was great to jump back up on stage with 45 GRAVE and guest on some vocals for their song "Party Time", which was their biggest hit. If any of you photogs who were at the show snapping away (there was a frickin' wave of camera flashes catching us together on stage) wanna send any copies of those snaps this way, I'd be happy to post them and give you some photo credit. For those of you that didn't get the memo, Safari Sam's had a lil' parting of the ways with their landlord and has now moved from their Hollywood location to downtown Los Angeles at the Regent Theater. No great loss mind you as it is HUGE and is a great new location, plus seeing how this was only the 3rd show there and it was a big success, I don't think anyone else misses their old digs either. --Sid Terror Horror Drunx: Hollywood Chapter Leader
